Blog AP 7 9/1/09 – reflect on anything in the class so far
This so far in class I am rather impressed by the level of participation of the class. Last year the class was dulled by the fact that no one in the class participated in class discussions. This year I am glad that in class people have actively expressed their opinions instead of just sitting around. I have found the reading to be interesting and thought provoking, though it is not what I would have picked out to read to myself for fun. The workload has been consistent, but thankfully not unmanageable. Sometimes I get the impression that I do not always understand the readings but I have grown to understand them significantly more over the past week. I hope that this class will continue on in that direction of productivity and learning for the rest of the school year.

I totally agree! This class is a lot more engaged than last years, although I'm not sure why that is. I also feel you when you say you don't always understand the readings until we discuss them in class. I also agree that the workload is manageable. Great post!
